Problem With Superstar 3900

hi to all, i dont know why when i TX on SSB my radio has a carrier with out any modulation, i would liky to know how to fix it.
i dont know if that will damage my radio, so what can i do?

Try turning your mic gain down. You maybe picking up to much back ground noise.
