Cobra 200 gtl dx problem...

i just got this cobra 200 gtl dx and i was talking on it for a little while, like 20 minutes and when i went to switch the frequency, it didn't change. i could turn it clockwise and it would change but not when i would turn it counter clockwise. What could it be?...does anyone have an answer?

Cobra 200 GTL DX has a 2 year warranty.
I would send it back to them for repair.
The turn around time is usually not too long.
