I just had a SSB radio done for $30. But that was in Indiana. Maybe prices are different in your part of the country.

I recently bought a Galaxy 979 online from Sparky's CB Shack, They peak and tune them for free when you buy from them. I guess the bottom line is, do some research before forkin' over the money. Sadly some are just tryin' to make a fast $.
