The Defpom Forum, for RadioMods, S&M Software and Music by The Defpom

Can anything be done to these radios to improve performance. I have 2 of them that are the newer ones (2007 mfg date). I noticed info on the web that has locations of pots, inductors, etc.... But the information does not match up with the radios I have. Such as L4 L5.....(for example) where mine has L212, L214.... (for example.. Not accurate)

So I guess I'm asking if there is a way of beefing these little gems up to make a decent radio out of them... Maybe some info on capacitance and final swaps, receiver alignment, modulation pot location, etc...

Hi: I think the manuals, mod info etc for this radio can be found in the manuals section of www.cbtricks.com & can be freely downloaded from there.
