K guys i have a raider 18 - 78 cb radio, i do believe its an am set but i have googled and googled and i cannot find any info on this set anywhere, i didnt even know i had this radio till i cleaned the harden shed, it still has $20 written on the top cover LOL i will never most likly use this POS so...

Hey guys i was just wondering if its possible to change a cobra 148gtl mic adaptor to suit 4 pin?

i know the original 5 pic plug is hard wired to a pc board....

What can be done?

infact ill take the crystal out now and then i will post it monday for you. send me your address in a pm and ill send you mine back so we can make the swap over.

I have no worries with that, i will print off this page and take it to my local tech and see what he says, as for the X3 crystal i will happily send it over to you. I will have no use for it so i will send it to you.

Complicated lol

as the radio is there is a link from the top of the X3 crystal running to the top of the L22 tuning pot.where would i obtain 1 of these crystals?

Ok guys my radio is one from New Zealand so it uses 26Mhz.

How do i change this to run a factory 27Mhz?
