I am looking for the best mods to use on this radio. I know it probably is not the best radio to mod but it is what I got. I read all kinds of stuff about mods for this radio and was just wondering what you guys think about mods for this radio.

Thanks for the help guys i will check that out. I think it maybe a cold solder joint. It will work for a while and then I can turn it off and back on and it doesnt work. Also there is some glue or grease of some type that ran out the back of the radio. I dont know if that would have an effect on it ...

I have a 25 that works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. When it works it sounds good and gets out good but when it doesnt work the mic wont even key up and nothing with the squelch turned all the way down. Any ideas. If i can get it fixed i would love to do some mods to it if any one has suggestio...
