Rick, thanks again. I will check those values in the morning and go from there. I dont have another CB to test the TX but I think my programable scanner covers the CB band so I will check TX too. I will let you know. Chris.

The voltages tested are as follows: R12 - 8.51 , 1.66 R15 - 8.51 , 8.33 R18 - 8.51 , 8.44 R26 - 8.51 , 0.55 R32 - 8.51 , 1.58 R42 - 8.51 , 0.69 R43 - 8.51 , 1.47 R127 - 8.51 , 0.08 FET2 = 12v , 1.3v , 0v TR8 = 1.45v , 7v , .74v I got a reading of zero volts on TP1 in both RX and TX. Forgive my ignorance but I cannot get a steady voltage from any point in the radio. Good Mic for 29LTD

I read somewhere online the favorite mic for truckers that would work with a Cobra 29LTD and cannot find the info again. What mic would be a great match for this radio. This is the older 29 with the side mount mic jack. Thanks.
