Resurecting a TRC 457
Rick, I tried an external power supply with no difference. I will check the pin voltages when I get home. The gray wire is soldered down through to the top (NOT FOIL SIDE) of the PC board Right next to R29. It then feeds through the bundled harness and comes out near the front right part of the boar...

Resurecting a TRC 457
Rick,
TR24 and TR36 (regulators?) check out fine.
TR43 (Driver) and TR44 (Final) Check out fine.
TR25 also checks out fine.
When you speak of the dimmer are you refering to VR17?
All the LED's are working and the channel selector changes the channel numbers but no RX and no TX.

Resurecting a TRC 457
Also, I forgot to mention, there is a grey wire connected to the PC board next to R29 The other end of this wire has become disconnected and I can't tell where it goes. Anyone have a 457 that they could look at and tell me where this wire connects to? A pic would be perfect.
Thanks
Jim

Turner +3 Help
Hi People, I am looking for a schmatic diagram (not a block diagram) or a couple of high resolution pictures of the inards of the Turner +3 desk mic. I need to see what wires go where from the amp board to the switches and gain control. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim jamesm@nl.rogers.com

Hi Folks, My Washington isn't putting out the power it should. On AM it is relitively fine at 4 watts with very little forward swing. On SSB I can not seem to drive it past 5 watts or so. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? I am using a Astatic D104 Mic to modulate it but there se...

Good day people. I recently purchased a RM200P amp. When connected to my Washington I get a DK of about 50 watts. When I start talking the watt meter swings backward peaking at 25 watts. Anyone have an idea as to what causes this to happen? The SWR on the system is exceptionally low with the amp off...
